Job Summary:
Assists with report generation and distribution to support quality and performance improvement activities. Working under the direction of a manager and quality leaders, this role creates standard reports, runs standard reports, organizes data files, and distributes information to appropriate stakeholders. Supports the team by maintaining report schedules, ensuring timely distribution, and assisting with basic data organization tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
  • One year of experience in healthcare data entry, data analysis, or report generation: Required
  • Two years' of healthcare experience in report distribution or data support: Preferred
  • Familiarity with EHR systems: Preferred

Essential Functions:
  • Runs scheduled reports from existing templates and systems. Extracts, cleans, and validates healthcare data from EMRs, registries, and databases. Distributes reports to designated recipients on established timelines. Maintains organized filing of reports and data files.
  • Assists with updates to existing report templates as directed. Ensures reports are formatted correctly and distributed on schedule. Flags any data discrepancies to supervisor for resolution.
  • Organizes and files data received from various sources. Assists manager with data compilation tasks. Maintains spreadsheets and tracking logs as assigned.
  • Provides support to Quality and Performance Improvement teams. Assists with preparation of reports for meetings and committees. Helps compile data for regulatory submissions as directed.
  • Maintains documentation of report schedules and distribution lists. Updates process logs and tracking spreadsheets. Assists with organizing reference materials and user guides.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
