Your primary role as an LCSW will involve providing psychotherapy services to individuals grappling with a range of mental health issues. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify individual patient needs and developing tailored treatment plans based on established best practices.
• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive mental health outcomes.
• Maintaining meticulous and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards and organizational policies, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
• Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Participating in regular case discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to share best practices and improve service delivery.
• Providing educational resources and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, coping strategies, and available community resources.
• Staying informed on the latest research in mental health to enhance treatment approaches and improve clinical outcomes.
• Managing a full caseload effectively, ensuring that therapeutic goals are met promptly and professionally.

Your work will primarily focus on adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. The diverse client base will require you to adapt your therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs, creating a personalized treatment experience for each patient.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license to practice in the state of New York.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, specifically in providing psychotherapy services in a similar setting.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques and a commitment to using evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect effectively with patients and collaborate with team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, assisting you in developing innovative treatment plans.
• Capacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment, valuing the contributions of diverse clinical perspectives.

• Experience in an outpatient mental health clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication.
