Job description

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Education Operations Supervisor is responsible for organizing, directing, and implementing an infrastructure for a systems approach to the division Clinical Education Service Line. The Clinical Education Operations Supervisor performs various management functions, including data entry, routine database maintenance, and standard report generation, verification, and distribution, as well as support activities related to classroom coordination, registration oversight, documentation of participation, scheduling, and procurement of teaching materials. The Clinical Education Operations Supervisor also serves as the HealthStream and American Heart Association Training Center administrator.

  • Helps create a superior clinical identity by supporting the clinical education team in operationalizing evidence-based practices to advance patient safety and quality outcomes. Ensures adherence to standards of care.
  • Supports the achievement of internal/external benchmarks, accreditations and designations.
  • Ensures policies, procedures, and practices are in compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.
  • Ensures equipment maintenance is performed regularly and according to regulatory and/or accreditation standards.
  • Serves as the HealthStream administrator for the division, including building e-learning classes, maintaining student groups, entering data, and providing reports as needed.
  • Provides timely, accurate, and professional support to the clinical education team.
  • Utilizes computers, computer systems, and audio/visual equipment effectively. Demonstrates familiarity with medical terminology.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 3+ years’ of experience in healthcare, education, business or finance Required
