Position: Full-Time
River Terrace Retirement Community is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team in Bluffton, Indiana. This role supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care in compliance with all regulatory standards.
River Terrace Retirement Community offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Short-Term Rehabilitation, and Long-Term Care services in a compassionate and resident-focused environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations
Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
Participate in staff education, training, and performance management
Monitor resident care plans and clinical outcomes
Assist with surveys, audits, and quality assurance initiatives
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident care needs
Provide leadership support and clinical guidance to nursing staff
QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in long-term care, hospital, or related healthcare setting
Strong working knowledge of state and federal regulations
Experience working with the geriatric population preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
