We are currently seeking a Logistics Associate to join our team!

On-site requirement: 5 days/week

Location: 2400 Skymark Avenue, Unit 4, Mississauga, ON.

The pay range for this role is: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Placement within the range will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. The final offer will reflect the successful candidate's background and demonstrated capabilities.

This position is an existing vacancy within the organization and is responsible for assisting Logistics Operators in all aspects of logistics from inbound to outbound operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the efficient receiving, handling, labelling, and posting of all inbound shipments.
  • Assists in the efficient put-away of all inbound shipments to their corresponding locations.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy through efficient cycle count activities.
  • Picks and replenishes all compounding requirements efficiently.
  • Picks and packs finished goods efficiently.
  • Ensures accuracy through manual checking of outbound shipments.
  • Operates manual material handling equipment safely for all physical material movement within the facility.
  • Assigns transportation couriers for all outbound shipments efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Maintains GxP standards as prescribed by the Company.
  • Prepares reports/documentation of data to support KPIs.
  • Internally there is interaction with staff and management of all local and regional internal departments.
  • Externally there is interaction with vendors and transportation companies.

Working Conditions:

Physical effort:

  • 70% of the work is done while in a standing position.
  • Concurrently, 50% of this time is spent bending, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, and lifting objects that generally do not exceed 35 lbs.
  • Use of the ‘buddy’ system in the event that an item is over 35 lbs., and use of the Reach truck or a pallet jack for full pallet loads.

PPE Requirement:

  • Safety shoes must be worn at all times along with other PPE requirements, task dependent.

Physical environment:

  • Clean and quiet warehouse setting.
  • The job has a variable work pace with a normal degree of pressure.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Previous warehouse/receiving experience required
  • Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is an asset

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organization
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications
