Overview
    The Lab Assistant will assist in lab courses in the OT Program
Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting lab instructor as directed
  • Preparing the laboratory environment with appropriate equipment and maintaining a safe environment
  • Assisting lab instructor as directed with demonstrating hands-on and clinical lab coursework to students
  • Assisting lab instructor as directed with providing feedback to students demonstrating basic hands-on and clinical skills in preparation for lab tests
Qualifications

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Student within the Touro College Occupational Therapy Program
  • Successful completion of course for which hired as a lab technician

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Effective interpersonal skills with peers and professors
  • Clear verbal communications
  • Dependable and professional
  • Demonstrated excellent manual and clinical skills in the course and passed the course/topics in previous semesters
