They work under the guidance of licensed professionals, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world patient care. Clinical internships are a crucial part of training, helping interns develop clinical skills, professional ethics, and confidence before becoming fully licensed practitioners.

What types of supervision and mentorship can a clinical intern expect during their internship?

Clinical Interns typically work under the guidance of licensed clinicians who provide regular supervision, feedback, and mentorship. Supervision often includes weekly individual or group meetings to discuss cases, ethical considerations, and professional development. Interns are encouraged to ask questions, reflect on their experiences, and actively engage in learning from their supervisors and peers. This mentorship structure helps interns build clinical skills, gain confidence, and prepare for future independent practice.
