Position Summary: Coordinate's goal achievement of organizational and clinical departments by: streamlining work processes; encouraging integration of technologies that support improved patient safety/patient outcomes through best practices and development of secure, reliable systems. Designs new practices and implements new systems. Provides leadership in the facility related to clinical process design and system implementation.

Job Requirement Education/Experience: Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics or patient/clinical care related specialty or graduation from an accredited school of nursing and two (2) years of clinical experience in the appropriate specialty area plus two (2) years progressive responsibility in clinical data management or technical clinical informatics related experience. Licensing/Certification Requirements: None. Additional Position Requirements 1+ years of Epic experience.

Experience interpreting, tracking, and disseminating surgical device data Preferred Requirements in addition to the above: 1+ years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse or a Certified Surgical Technologist Green Belt Certification. Strong Experience in Microsoft OS. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Mobility to work in a typical clinical setting and use standard equipment, stamina to remain standing and/or walk for extended periods of time, vision to read printed materials and a VDT screen, and hearing and speech to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Strength and agility to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
