Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and maintaining a professional therapeutic relationship according to ethical guidelines.
  • Conduct regular sessions to track client progress, therapeutic goals, and discuss upcoming appointments and discharge planning when appropriate.
  • Create, implement, and assess individual treatment plans that prioritize client wellness and progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of each client's treatment history, progress notes, and assessments following organizational standards.
  • Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate new clients' mental health needs and establish appropriate treatment paths.
  • Engage in weekly individual sessions with clients, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to encourage personal development.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions to discuss client cases and refine therapeutic skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated care approaches.
  • Maintain a proactive and growth-oriented mindset towards both personal and professional development within the workplace.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with a diverse client population that includes adults, children, and families, each facing unique mental health challenges. Our commitment to inclusivity ensures that services are accessible to all individuals, including those from marginalized groups, the LGBTQIA+ community, veterans, and people with disabilities. You will work with clients experiencing various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties, providing personalized care to foster resilience and recovery.

Qualifications

  • Current and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license without restrictions.
  • Minimum of one-year professional experience in a clinical outpatient setting following graduation.
  • Proficient with basic computer skills, including experience with MS Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and other relevant software platforms.
Preferred Experience
  • Hands-on experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, especially in an outpatient context.
  • Comfort in performing intake assessments and collaborating in a multidisciplinary team environment.
