We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Operating Room at a prestigious hospital in Winchester, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular surgery and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care

- Monitor and assess patient's vital signs and condition during surgery

- Assist with surgical procedures, including preparing and maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, and providing supplies to surgeons

- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the physician

- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care

- Document patient care and communicate any changes in patient's condition to the physician

- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery

- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia

- BLS and ACLS certification
