Job description

Description

Job Summary: The Vice President, Enterprise Project Management leads the end-to-end delivery of StrideCare's capital growth portfolio. This role converts approved strategy into open, revenue-generating sites by overseeing real estate execution, design and construction, licensure and accreditation, and operational go-live, while leading the project management team and upholding the capital discipline required for board-level accountability

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Own the enterprise capital project portfolio end-to-end, maintaining a single source of truth for scope, schedule, budget, and status across all active projects and markets.
  • Establish and run a disciplined project-governance cadence - stage gates, milestone reviews, and risk/issue escalation - integrated with StrideCare's EOS operating rhythm (rocks, L10s, scorecards).
  • Produce board- and Sponsor-ready reporting, including milestone tracking, capital-deployment status, variance-to-plan, and go-live readiness.
  • Own de novo clinic delivery from approved pipeline through opening, including site due diligence, LOI and lease negotiation support, buildout, staffing-readiness coordination, and go-live.
  • Provide market, cost, and timeline input into site selection to inform leadership's decision-making, without owning the selection itself.
  • Partner with operations and clinical leadership to sequence clinic openings against volume ramp and provider onboarding assumptions.
  • Direct ASC development from concept through licensure and first case, including space programming, room classification and compliance, buildout, equipment procurement, and accreditation coordination.
  • Manage the pathway from pre-launch to operating status, including CMS/state licensure milestones and payer/credentialing dependencies.
  • Lead other board- and executive-sponsored enterprise initiatives as assigned - including systems implementations, market/practice integrations, operational rollouts, and cross-market programs - applying consistent governance and delivery discipline.
  • Extend the same portfolio view, stage gates, and reporting to non-capital projects to provide leadership with one unified delivery function across the enterprise.
  • Build and defend project pro formas, including capital outlay, EBITDA impact, payback, and revenue-arbitrage/incremental-volume modeling, for board approval and post-completion true-up.
  • Own project budgets and contingency, driving value engineering and vendor competitive tension to protect returns.
  • Reconcile per-project and per-market capital figures so portfolio totals tie out cleanly for board materials.
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable the project management team (PMs, outside partners/vendors), including hiring, performance management, and career development.
  • Allocate PM resources across the portfolio against enterprise priorities, balancing capital and non-capital workloads.
  • Own the project-delivery methodology, standards, templates, and tooling (e.g., monday.com portfolio boards) as the enterprise PMO.
  • Select and manage architects, general contractors, and equipment vendors, establishing standard playbooks that make each successive project faster and more predictable.
  • Serve as the single owner coordinating real estate, legal, IT, revenue cycle, credentialing, marketing, and clinical operations for capital projects, aligning toward a common go-live date.
  • Translate operational requirements into design and construction scope and translate construction realities back.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Strong capital-planning and financial-modeling fluency, including pro formas, payback, and ROI/EBITDA impact.
  • Proven ability to run a structured project portfolio and report to executive and/or board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse stakeholder groups toward a common goal.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a project management team or PMO, including resource allocation across a multi-project portfolio.
  • Working knowledge of real estate development, design/construction processes, licensure and accreditation pathways, and vendor/contractor management.
  • Strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
  • A team player who can manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years leading multi-site capital projects, real estate development, or design/construction, with direct ownership of budgets, schedules, and delivery.
  • Demonstrated success opening healthcare or multi-location retail/clinical facilities from site selection through go-live.
  • Direct experience developing ASCs or licensed clinical facilities, including FGI/ASHRAE 170 room classification, accreditation, and AHJ/state-licensure processes.
  • Enterprise PMO or program-management experience spanning both capital and non-capital initiatives.
  • PE-backed or high-growth platform experience.
  • PMP or equivalent.
  • MBA or master's in a relevant field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating office equipment (e.g., computers, phones, fax machines).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Visual acuity is required to perform tasks involving computer screens and paper documents.
  • Ability to move around the office to access files, office machinery, and other equipment.
