Position Summary for the Marketing Specialist:

The Marketing Specialist supports the marketing and sales team in establishing and evaluating marketing strategy by assembling and creating sales materials, updating and preparing calendars, digital marketing campaigns and social media content, presentations or communications and analyzing data. Coordinate marketing projects including maintaining company websites, sales materials, e-commerce product pages, social media content as well as tradeshow activities. This includes assisting with the execution of projects and adhering to defined brand and deadlines; lead capture and nurturing; tracking and monitoring budget information and exploring/offering solutions to execute projects.

Primary Responsibilities for the Marketing Specialist:

  • Responsible for capturing marketing project requirements; assisting in the execution of initiatives and verifying materials meet desired specifications and are complete by established deadlines requested.
  • Coordinates and executes marketing projects including videos, social media and email content, photography, retail signage, and digital assets. CRM lifecycle and product launch materials, ensuring they align with brand standards. Establish and track measurements of success.
  • Manage and coordinate industry trade shows including preparing booth presence and items including sourcing products according to internal ordering processes, staffing, tracking, and marketing materials. Coordinate pre- and post-event marketing efforts.
  • Assist in the management of website and execution of digital marketing projects. Prepare analytics and analyze as requested. This includes online traffic, etc. to improve digital initiatives.
  • Engage in and support all applicable brand-building initiatives as they relate to defined markets.
  • Continually seeks out and researches new sources of prospective customers while providing recommendations to marketing and sales groups.
  • Partners internally and externally to enhance our collaborative marketing strategies.
  • Works proactively on continuous improvement of our corporate websites and assists in implementing initiatives that will drive traffic, SEO, conversion, customer acquisition, and profitability.
  • Aides in maintaining e-commerce content and product pages within PCTโ€™s and retail websites, driving traffic and sales through the channels.
  • Works to enhance site design and content to optimize call-to-action and lead-generation strategies.
  • Helps to define or expand tactics to drive marketing program performance.
  • Manages and helps grow the company and brandโ€™s social media profiles and presence within brand parameters, executing on planned social media content calendars and exploring ways to leverage new social media strategies.
  • Drives alignment and bridges solid partnerships with departments across the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or Business preferred or equivalent education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of marketing experience.
  • Strong computer skills for generating reports, viewing marketing metrics, extracting data, and sharing this information with other team members. Working knowledge of basic computer applications, programs, and features is a must with experience in web page and video development or graphic design is helpful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments, vendors, contractors and freelancers.
  • Proficient in all industry-standard software programs, knowledge of Netsuite and e-commerce sales drivers is also preferred.
  • Strong organization/prioritization skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to complete work accurately in a time-sensitive environment
  • Self-motivated and detail/deadline oriented.
  • Must be comfortable working independently or collaboratively with internal colleagues or external partners.
  • Customer-focused.
  • Adaptable and resilient to work under changing project direction and program requirements.

  • Less than 20% of travel may be required.
