What Your Impact Is
  • Deliver expert guidance on air quality permitting and compliance for major capital projects
  • Influence environmental strategies for global clients across diverse sectors
  • Contribute to innovative climate initiatives, including greenhouse gas reduction and energy efficiency programs
  • Build trusted relationships with regulators and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

What You'll Bring
Required:
  • BS in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Sciences (MS preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years (4+ years preferred) of experience in environmental permitting and compliance
  • Hands-on experience with air quality construction permits, Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, and/or MACT
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and databases
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Experience with climate change projects such as GHG inventories and emission reduction strategies
  • Familiarity with emerging Low Carbon Fuel Standards and complex permitting programs

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct air quality analyses and regulatory applicability evaluations
  • Prepare and manage air quality permits (Title V, PSD, NSR) and liaise with regulators
  • Develop emission inventories and assess pollution control technologies
  • Implement climate change initiatives, including public disclosure and verification
  • Support MACT compliance programs and deliver actionable recommendations
  • Ensure quality standards across multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule
  • Foster strong client relationships and collaborate with ERM's national network of experts
