If you are passionate about driving execution, solving operational problems, and ensuring customers receive their orders on time, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you as an Expeditor ! Based at our Forney, Texas Distribution Center, this role oversees the flow of customer orders from release through shipment, ensuring timely delivery and resolving issues that could impact customer commitments. Working across Operations, Materials, Inventory, Customer Service, Transportation, and Quality, you will coordinate priority and at-risk orders, remove bottlenecks, and improve communication and visibility throughout the process.

AS AN EXPEDITOR, YOU WILL

  • Own and manage high-priority, customer-critical, and past-due orders from release through shipment

  • Monitor order flow across the distribution center and proactively address bottlenecks impacting delivery commitments

  • Partner with Operations, Materials, Inventory, Customer Service, Transportation, and Quality teams to resolve order execution issues

  • Escalate shortages, inventory discrepancies, transportation delays, system errors, and other risks that could affect customer deliveries

  • Lead daily hot-order reviews, track action items, and ensure timely completion of recovery plans

  • Track inbound materials, monitor staged shipments, and coordinate priorities to ensure on-time order fulfillment

  • Develop reporting and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve order flow, reduce backlog, and enhance operational performance

Schedule

This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities. You will work a standard 1st shift, Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be required to support customer-critical shipments and operational priorities outside of standard business hours.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse operations, customer service, materials planning, logistics, or supply chain

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias for action

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments

  • Experience using ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (Oracle, SAP, Manhattan, etc.)

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience in high-volume distribution center operations

  • Experience coordinating customer-critical or expedited shipments

  • Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Root Cause Analysis

  • Experience developing operational dashboards and performance metrics

  • Experience with Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting tools
