Lead Analyst, Business Planning

Location: Wilmington, MA

The Aerospace, Defense, and Communications BU is hiring a Business Analyst with hands-on skills and knowledge of data analytics and tools to meet our business needs. You will be responsible for transforming the business analytics of the group through identification, mining, and extraction of data;creating presentations and proposals based on that data;interacting with staff both within the BU and company and generally proposing optimized solutions to short- and long-term business constraints.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will use knowledge of data analytical techniques to process data sets, find trends/insights, assist in drawing logical conclusions to guide the division leadership team in all aspects of the business.Your work will include:

  • Work with our manufacturing and supply chain partners to understand capacity and constraints and analyze potential options to resolve

  • Collaborate with marketing managers and customer team to create product forecasts

  • Review and analyze changes to the product pipeline

  • Collaborate with marketing managers and the business development team to build strategic marketing models to help guide our long-term investments

  • Work with finance, marketing, and sales to forecast near term and long-range revenue

  • Work with the Enterprise Porfolio Program Management Office and the division program managers to review the progress of new products and highlight potential areas for improvement

Must Have Skills:

  • 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics

  • Strong technical communication skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and summarize business goals into metrics and dashboards

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement abilities

  • Proficiencyin data platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau)

  • Cross-functional influence: lead and influence technical approaches across organizational boundaries

  • Problem resolution: resolving complex technical issues that span multiple domains, applying creative solutions to unprecedented challenges

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, Operational Research, Industrial Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field
  • Experience in supply chain operations or project management, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech environment
  • Strong project management skills
