Job description
Summary of Position
We are looking for a responsible Maintenance Technician who can keep our fast-food restaurants compliant with OSHA requirements, all repairs done and all equipment functioning. This person will be in charge of the ongoing facilities maintenance by completing repairs on equipment of all locations and taking care of any immediate repairs. The successful candidate will be required to respond to repair calls for such activities as replacing parts, plumbing, fixing machinery, heating, wiring, painting among others.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance around the restaurant locations such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
- Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
- Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
- Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
- Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
- Performs other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have experience as a handyman and doing general repairs.
