Job description

SCOPE OF POSITION:

This is not a typical sales role. We are seeking an energetic Sales Consultant who is technically minded and motivated to serve others. The ideal person is someone who represents our passion for building relationships and has an innate sense of curiosity and exceptional listening skills. The primary objective is to partner with clients and seek to earnestly understand their needs and offer solutions that are in their best interest. Compensation is a blend of salary, non-capped commissions, and company benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify potential clients and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective account plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Consult with clients to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Help estimate costs for HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation projects.
  • Coordinate technical support and guidance to clients during the sales process.
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure alignment with client needs.
  • Collaborate with the team to create compelling, accurate, and detailed proposals and present them to clients.
  • Review and finalize proposals and contracts, ensuring alignment on all aspects.
  • Document activities and convey information to the rest of the team.
  • Maintain appropriate contact with customers at all levels, especially decision makers.
  • Manage the client experience by effectively communicating with other team members.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements and best practices.
WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD:
  • Proven track record of successful sales in the commercial HVAC industry or similar field.
  • Understanding of HVAC systems and applications in commercial settings is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong desire to learn.
  • Salary + Commission = $75k-$200k
