Position Summary 


The Sales Executive role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in construction sales and multifamily market, specializing in service lines such as roofing, painting, exteriors, and interiors. The Sales Executive will cultivate relationships with clients, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth while representing the Company’s core values. In addition to the base salary, sales executives are eligible to receive significant commission earnings. 

Responsibilities 

  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring frequent local face-to-face interactions. Develop a deep understanding of client needs, especially for multifamily properties, and provide exceptional service to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Identify decision-makers, respond to bid opportunities (RFPs, ITBs), and secure contracts. Develop competitive proposals, negotiate effectively, and close sales with a focus on achieving profitability and repeat business. Build a relationship with clients that is so good we are postured to win all opportunities with the client.
  • Collaborate with clients to create accurate scopes of work, ensuring compliance with local pricing, ADA standards, and IBC regulations. Provide consulting expertise to clients for problem resolution and project optimization.
  • Conduct due diligence on properties, identify root causes of issues, and assist in qualifying and developing job scopes. Perform job walks with clients, providing real-time pricing and addressing possible hidden or uncovered damages.
  • Partner with estimators, project managers, and superintendents to ensure seamless project execution. Participate in pre-construction, progress, and final job meetings, providing timely updates to clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain an organized customer account database, complete reports, and participate in sales meetings. Manage invoicing and collections to enhance profitability.
  • Serve as a Company ambassador at local and state apartment association events, networking opportunities, and other venues to promote business development.
  • Provide assistance during catastrophic events, ensuring Company readiness and client support.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Qualifications & Experience 

  • Proven sales experience in the multifamily construction industry
  • Expertise in roofing, painting, interiors, exteriors, and mitigation/restoration services
  • Ability to develop and qualify scopes of work with construction knowledge
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong contracts knowledge 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • OSHA certification (or ability to become certified) and familiarity with IICRC standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of local construction pricing and regulations (ADA, IBC)
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and attention to detail
  • Experience in negotiating and managing a sale process
  • Experience in marketing services for purpose of generating new or existing business
  • Experience effectively communicating across different levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Possess excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to make sound decisions that positively affect project and profit outcomes
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter
  • Must be able to travel regionally daily
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed to ensure job success
  • Must have a satisfactory driving record per insurance requirements
