Job Overview
Are you strong team player who is passionate about providing superior service?
Citadel Credit Union is currently looking to fill an opening for a Non-Registered Client Associate. In this role, the ideal candidate will assist one or more Financial Advisor's with the opening and maintenance of client accounts and records, performs a wide variety of administrative support duties, including but not limited to, word processing, preparing mailings, filing, answering the phone, obtaining approvals for FA(s) communications and advertisements, and provides overall customer service support to clients.
Responsibilities
  • Process new account applications, and maintenance requests by copying, mailing, scanning, and uploading to broker dealer platform. Review materials for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist advisors in organizing and implementing productivity-based campaigns
  • Build and foster strong client relationships through superior member service.
  • Perform clerical functions related to opening client accounts, maintenance requests but copying, mailing, scanning, and uploading documents.
  • Work with the FA(s) and the client in obtaining the required documents based upon the type of account(s) established.
  • Organize and assist in the maintenance of complete client account and trade- related records for the FA(s) and certain required files for the branch office.
  • Perform operational or administrative functions for client related requests (i.e., check requests, wiring funds, address change, dividend information, etc.).
  • Provide reports and other information to FA(s), as requested.
  • Identify situations that need to be brought to the attention of the FA(s) or escalated to the Branch Manager; including suspicious client and/or employee activity or behavior.
  • Perform various administrative duties (i.e., typing, filing, answering phones, mailing documents/letters, etc.) and other duties and projects as assigned by the FA and/or Branch Manager.
  • As requested, schedule appointments for client meetings and maintain accurate records of appointments on financial advisor's calendar.
  • Work directly with broker-dealer, annuity, and fund companies as directed.
  • Utilize available technology and tools to support efficient and effective time management.

Non-registered Client Associates may not volunteer quotes or other stock information to clients.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • Minimum of five years of customer service and financial industry experience
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office products
  • FINRA SIE exam is required
