Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an intellectually curious, highly organized Knowledge Manager to lead capture, organization, and activation the firm's collective knowledge. This role sits at the intersection of strategy consulting, knowledge management, and emerging technology.
The Knowledge Manager will ensure that consultants can quickly access the firm's intellectual capital, including project deliverables, methodologies, industry insights, expert interviews, and best practices. The role will also support the adoption of practical AI-enabled tools and workflows that improve productivity, accelerate research, and enhance knowledge sharing across the organization.
This position offers broad exposure to the firm's activities, subject matter experts, consulting methodologies, and strategic priorities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone interested in consulting, research, knowledge strategy, and applied AI.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Management & Intellectual Capital
โ€ข Build, maintain and continuously improve the firm's knowledge repository, ensuring consultants can efficiently access relevant project materials, methodologies, frameworks, and research.
โ€ข Organize, classify, and curate project deliverables, proposals, market analyses, presentations, and other intellectual capital assets.
โ€ข Develop and maintain knowledge taxonomies, metadata standards, and organizational structures that improve searchability and knowledge discovery.
โ€ข Ensure knowledge assets remain current, well-organized, and aligned with firm standards.
โ€ข Build and support knowledge governance, content lifecycle management, and archival processes.
Knowledge Capture & Development
โ€ข Partner with project teams to capture key insights, lessons learned, and reusable intellectual capital from completed engagements.
โ€ข Organize and maintain records of subject matter expert (SME) interviews, proprietary research, and internal perspectives.
โ€ข Transform project outputs into reusable frameworks, playbooks, templates, best-practice guides, and case examples.
โ€ข Identify recurring client challenges and develop knowledge resources that support future consulting engagements.
โ€ข Support internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and communities of practice.
AI Enablement & Adoption
โ€ข Support adoption and effective use of approved AI tools and workflows related to accessing Knowledge across the firm.
โ€ข Identify opportunities to improve consultant productivity through AI-enabled workflows for research, synthesis, content development, and knowledge retrieval.
โ€ข Create and maintain libraries of AI prompts, templates, workflow examples, and use cases for common consulting activities.
โ€ข Provide training and practical guidance to help consultants use AI tools effectively and responsibly in day-to-day work.
โ€ข Monitor emerging AI capabilities and assess practical applications aligned with firm needs.
Consultant Support & Adoption
โ€ข Serve as a trusted resource for consultants seeking relevant project examples, methodologies, research, and expertise.
โ€ข Respond to internal knowledge requests and support project teams with information retrieval and knowledge discovery.
โ€ข Promote adoption of knowledge resources, tools, and best practices across the firm.
โ€ข Develop user guides, training materials, and onboarding resources to improve utilization of firm knowledge assets.
Qualifications
Required
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Science, Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, Library Science, Research, or a related field.
โ€ข 3 to 5 years or more of experience in consulting, research, knowledge management, business analysis, information management, or a related analytical professional environment.
โ€ข Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to requests efficiently, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and communicate insights clearly.
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
โ€ข Exposure to generative AI tools and interest in applying AI to research, content development, and knowledge-sharing workflows.
โ€ข Experience organizing large volumes of information.
