Job description

Diversified Construction & Design is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to join our Mechanical Division.

We offer competitive compensation, employer-sponsored health insurance, 401k with company match, Paid Time Off. Travel and out-of-town work may be required depending on client and project demands.


Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, other relevant management, and clients to ensure projects are executed within budget and on time.
  • Lead and support a team of workers, including managing work schedules, project progress and resource allocation.
  • Promote our safety culture by enforcing safety procedures, including educating new employees on safety procedures, regulations, and expectations.
  • Propose potential adjustments within operations as necessary to best meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Engage with the workforce to establish relationships that promote communication, transparency, and accountability.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal construction regulations.
  • Coordinate supply deliveries with vendors as needed.
  • Maintain a log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and identifying signs of maintenance issues.
  • Travel to and from client location as needed.
  • Promote company’s growth vision and long-term strategic goals.
