Commercial Lines Account Manager I – Insurance Services

Join our dynamic team as an Account Manager I, where you’ll play a key role in supporting client relationships, processing insurance documentation, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This position offers a blend of tactical execution and strategic support in a collaborative environment.

 Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Active Arkansas Insurance Producer License required.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Applied Epic preferred.
  • Ability to work independently under moderate supervision.
  • Comfortable handling varied and moderately complex tasks.
  • Role is 75% tactical, 25% strategic.
  • Non-exempt position.
 Key Responsibilities

Client Support & Communication

  • Assist clients with inquiries, policy changes, and claims processing.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention (target: 90%+).
  • Communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

Policy & Documentation Management

  • Prepare and review insurance documents (applications, quotes, policies, endorsements).
  • Set up and maintain client accounts, including Auto ID cards, Evidence of Property, and Certificates of Insurance.
  • Ensure accurate data entry in the agency management system.

Sales & Account Development

  • Support account rounding by identifying cross-sell opportunities and referring leads to Account Executives or Producers.
  • Track policy expiration dates and assist with renewals.

Administrative & Compliance

  • Coordinate with carriers on claims, renewals, and policy changes.
  • Ensure compliance with agency procedures to prevent errors and omissions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development through SIG U.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
