Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary:
The (USA) Distinguished, Technology Strategy role leads the operating rhythm, metrics, and communications that give leadership one consistent, data-backed view of execution while ensuring transformation lands with the associates living through it. This role owns WBR/MBR/QBR cadence, OKR governance, and KPI dashboarding alongside executive communications, All Hands, and pulse-survey-driven change management, translating both performance and change into a trusted narrative for the organization.

The Marketplace Tech & AI Strategy team leads enterprise-wide execution by integrating technology, operations, people, and investment through a unified platform. The team establishes sustainable governance and operating rhythms to enable independent initiative advancement. Focused on strategic planning, risk management, and data-driven investment decisions, it aligns technology strategy with business goals to support lasting transformation. Emphasizing effective project management, financial oversight, and stakeholder collaboration, the team ensures streamlined delivery and continuous improvement across Walmart’s marketplace technology landscape, driving value creation and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
  • Own the executive operating rhythm, giving leadership one consistent, data-backed view of execution.
  • Lead organizational change management for platform consolidation and AI transformation, ensuring change lands well with associates regardless of whose technical decision drove it.
  • Direct executive communications and messaging by translating strategy and performance into narratives associates understand.
  • Design pulse surveys and adoption-measurement feedback loops, and build the source-of-truth reporting model leadership uses to answer "how are we tracking."
  • Plan and facilitate  operating rhythm.
  • Build and lead a team spanning analytics, reporting, and communications disciplines, setting standards for dashboarding, meeting facilitation, and change methodology.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven strategic planning experience across complex business environments, identifying sustainable advantages and driving initiative implementation.
  • Ability to apply macroeconomic analysis and strategic frameworks to devise plans and inform business decisions.
  • Working knowledge of technology products and release cycles to communicate business needs to engineering teams.
  • Strong stakeholder influence — leading discussions confidently and becoming a trusted advisor who drives action.
  • Solid project management fundamentals — prioritizing work, tracking risk, and building clear communication plans.
  • Deep business context expertise — building business cases and translating requirements into strategy and initiatives.
  • Financial management proficiency — creating program budgets, providing AOP/LRP inputs, and projecting program ROI.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
