Position Summary
The Associate Implementation Project Manager provides overall leadership and coordination of the implementation process as part of the onboarding of new customers or the migration of existing customers. The Associate Implementation Project Manager is responsible for seeing that the customer solution experience is executed smoothly, and results coincide with customer expectations and Karmak goals. The Associate Implementation Project Manager also has good customer service skills.
Essential Job Functions
• Define and maintain implementation processes, manage the implementation lifecycle and identify gaps in the process to Implementation management for correction.
• Be responsible for driving customer on-boarding projects toward successful completion; be accountable to all stakeholders (internal as well as external customers) for reporting the status and resolution of stated goals.
• Communicate clearly and openly with Customer's Module Champions to understand expectations, gather feedback, and translate customer requirements into actionable items for implementation by the operations groups.
• Map a timeline and schedule to meet the project target and lead the implementation team to prepare for and plan a superior on-boarding process for every new customer.
• Provide coordination and leadership to team members tasked with installation, configuration, data migration, training and consulting (if sold)
• Identify and communicate project risks and roadblocks and work closely with operations managers to ensure complete and timely resolution.
• Manage the on-boarding schedule to meet the needs of customers while maximizing company revenue. Coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders to ensure that the schedule is workable and followed.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Previous project management experience or formal training is preferred
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • The ability to collaborate well with internal team members as well as customers
  • The ability to complete work assignments thoroughly, accurately, professionally, and on time.
  • Must be able to handle multiple assignments and adjust work pace to handle emergency or rush assignments.
  • Experience working with customer organizations managing process and organizational change required.
  • Must display initiative, embrace accountability, and enjoy team leadership and change management.
  • Technical aptitude and a good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word and Project Management tools used by Karmak are required.
  • Good/Standard Customer Service and Relationship Management experience and skills
  • Ability to recognize priorities among needs and activities and inject a sense of urgency where required
