Job Summary:
The Accounting & Reporting Advisory Services Project Manager will be part of an Accounting & Reporting Advisory Services team supporting projects in the areas of Technology Enablement; Business Process Improvement; Finance and Business Operations; in addition to Business Transformation and Operational Excellence efforts.
Job Duties:
  • Acts as primary contact for clients and/or engagement team leads regarding all questions and information, including progress, challenges encountered, and issues identified
  • Provides exceptional client service and develops advanced level deliverables and/or solutions to client issues
  • Establishes engagement budget, provides recommendations for project scope and underlying pricing changes, as needed
  • Prepares periodic and timely billings, and manages adjustments to engagement realization, as needed
  • Identifies, grows, and maintains strategic relationships with client personnel, including members of client management
  • Prepares formal and informal presentations for client meetings
  • Identifies new business opportunities to expand the Accounting & Reporting Advisory Services practice and communicates such opportunities to his/her engagement leaders
  • Participates in marketing and business development activities within practice
  • Drafts proposals and reports, and completes research, when needed
  • Administers project plans
  • Communicates and oversees the project plan making updates as directed by the management team
  • Manages tasks closely to make sure they are being completed and in a timely manner
  • Gathers deliverables and distributes project documents appropriately
  • Documents information from internal project meetings
  • Identifies and tracks any gaps or issues in the project
  • Schedules meetings with the management team and the project team
  • Escalates any issues to management as needed
  • Prepares and distributes project communications
  • Fosters a positive demeanor, learning attitude and client service mentality with client and ARAS team members
  • Other specific duties as required by individual clients

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • May supervise the day-to-day workload of other personnel on assigned engagements and reviews work products
  • Acts as mentor to others, as appropriate

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree, required

Experience:
  • Five (5) or more years of professional experience, required
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills, required
  • Strong project planning, scoping and management skills, required
  • Strong business process analysis & design and process flow skills or a strong understanding of Technology, Operations, or Finance functions, required
  • Client facing consulting experience, preferred
  • Project Management experience, preferred

License/Certifications:
  • N/A

Software:
  • ERP knowledge, preferred
  • Knowledge of project management practices, preferred

Language:
  • N/A

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $125,000 - $140,000
Maryland Range: $125,000 - $140,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $125,000 - $140,000
