Job description

The Back Cove Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary client care specialist to join our 5-doctor veterinary hospital in Portland. Come join a compassionate and progressive group of exceptional veterinary professionals, in our beautiful and modern facility just steps from the Back Cove Trail. Our hospital has been thoughtfully designed to match our practice philosophy of maximizing employee, client and patient well-being and comfort. We are a paper-less practice equipped with digital radiology (including a designated dental suite), ultrasound and full in-house laboratory. If you are a friendly, hardworking and energetic team player dedicated to the highest levels of patient care and customer service, we'd be excited to have you help define the Back Cove Animal Hospital experience!

Our veterinary client care specialist responsibilities include:

  • Providing an exceptional client experience
  • Greeting clients and pets
  • Managing multiple phone lines
  • Managing client communications through email
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Processing payments
  • Making sure reception is clean and presentable

Applicants must have a positive attitude, excellent communication and multi-tasking skills and computer proficiency. The ideal candidate has at least 2-years of experience working in a veterinary hospital. Applicants should expect a flexible schedule and be available to work 1-2 Saturdays per month.
