Job description

The Mail Services Associate role is an integral part of day-to-day office activity. The primary function of this role is to sort, scan, log and distribute frontend mail and packages to the internal client as well as process all incoming and outgoing shipments.  This role also encompasses print support, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick-up frontend mail from local USPS facility.
  • Process all frontend mail; sort, scan and or distribute to the client.
  • Deliver and retrieve mail and or packages based on established schedule throughout the day.
  • Process and log all incoming deliveries via logistics team.
  • Maintain electronic mail repository as well as hardcopy record based on company retention requirements.
  • Prepare outgoing packages for third party shipping.
  • Sort and meter outgoing mail.
  • Manage client paper supplies.
  • Manage department mailboxes for client inquires and print jobs.
  • Maintain metrics and reporting logs for all frontend mail.
  • Manage client logistics assets.
  • Index electronic records into applicable storage repositories.
  • Provide phone support for third party and client inquiries.

  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.)
  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently.
