JOB OVERVIEW:
The Insurance Client Service Associate role is a great opportunity to get one's foot in the door to a career in the insurance industry! The Client Associate responsibilities include the following areas: providing day-to-day support to our Property & Casualty Team and our clients. This includes assisting clients with various online service platforms and acting as an internal accountability partner for EPIC's value-added services. The Client Associate will assist in the renewal, external marketing, loss analysis and ongoing service to client; they will prepare RFPs and client presentations as well as other deliverables.
This team is based in-office in Birmingham, AL and has been voted a Best Place to Work! They specialize in supporting clients in the oil & gas industry, commercial roofing, and crane & rigging industries. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Curiosity and an eagerness to learn! Insurance industry experience is nice to have but not required. The team can teach the important aspects of the industry, but ideal candidates will love learning, be a self-starter & enjoy variety in their work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):
• As directed, ensures that internal/external inquiries to the online services are responded to and resolved within established guidelines while providing excellent customer service;
• Upon renewal/onboarding of an account, determine services to be provided with input from Production and Marketing.
• Communicate to individual team members the assigned responsibilities and required timeline related to individual client services plans.
• Assimilate data from multiple departments into a cohesive deliverable.
• Participate in external marketing campaigns as requested
• Assist in day-to-day service needs of assigned accounts.
• ImageRight file set up
• Schedule formatting
• Support for Marketing Lead/Senior Client Manager as needed
• Renewal Document setup/formatting
• Upload COIs to Clearing Houses for renewal
• Issue Certificates of Insurance
• Plan and build documents for stewardship meetings with clients
• Loss analytics
• Loss run requests
• Experience Modifier analysis and projections
• Other office duties and special projects as assigned;
PERSONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
• Set priorities and manage workflow for self to ensure all goals are met;
• Maritain cordial and effective relationships with all parties;
• Maintain up-to-date proposals, workflow logs, update all required documentation and records;
• Interact with others effectively utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance as needed, to achieve the business goals of the Team/Company;
• Stay informed regarding industry information, trends, new product/program developments, coverages and technology to continually improve service, work product, and knowledge and performance;
• Project a professional image in action and appearance;
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• Must have working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications to include Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Co-Pilot and presentation software;
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to work with and maintain confidential information in a discreet and professional manner;
• Solid problem solving, analytical abilities and critical thinking skillset;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to work both on a team and independently; with or without, direct supervision;
• Performing with effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines;
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral;
• Position continually requires teamwork, demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy;
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required. College degree preferred;

Compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data. This role may also be eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
