Job description

Position Title: Client Services Associate
The Client Services Associate plays a crucial role in enhancing the client experience within the investment and financial services industry. This position is essential for managing client inquiries and ensuring that requests are handled promptly and accurately. The associate will be responsible for opening new accounts, processing requests, and maintaining operational efficiency. Strong knowledge of investment operations and client service is necessary for success in this role. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and possess a proactive approach to problem-solving. Salary Range: $62,000 - $66,000 / Year DOE
Client Services Associate Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a frontline contact for client requests and inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution or escalation to the appropriate team member
  • Prepare and process new account forms, money movement requests, and account maintenance updates in coordination with custodians
  • Handle day-to-day operational tasks, including tracking and managing incoming calls and data updates
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service or custodial issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain familiarity with client preferences and assist in delivering a personalized service experience
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of quarterly client reports
  • Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency efforts across the firm
  • Support compliance obligations by following procedures related to data security and document retention
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical records related to client accounts
  • Display professionalism in all communications, both internally and externally
  • Participate actively in team discussions and continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide support and backup to team members as needed

Client Services Associate Requirements:
  • Five years of experience in the investment or financial services industry, preferably in a client service or advisor support capacity
  • General knowledge of RIA versus trust accounts, rollovers, and account registrations
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Experience with CRM systems and portfolio management systems is preferred
  • Familiarity with custodial platforms is a plus
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred
