Job Description:

TD Wealth, Private Wealth Management provides high-net worth & ultra-high-net worth clients with holistic discovery and planning towards customized wealth advice and solutions. As part of TD Wealth Private Wealth Management, PrivateBanking specializes in offering tailored banking solutions and Credit Management to affluent HNW clients. Our Private Banker's support everyday banking transactions, personal credit management and support our client's banking needs while connecting them with the right TD Specialists to manage their wealth management needs.

This roleis responsible forservicing the needs of High Net Worth (HNW) clients and ensuring that each one has a legendary client experience. As part of the team, the Private Banking Client Service Associate will provide administrative support to the Senior Private Banker (SPB) in their achievement of business results,profitabilityand partner referrals.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide exceptional client service at every customer interaction

  • Assistin client onboarding and recommending retail solutions

  • Be alert for opportunities to expand existing client and prospect relationships

  • Produce reports and compose correspondence asrequired

  • Ensure satisfactory resolution of client inquiries and take ownership of coordinating responses with other Partners as necessary

  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence,informationand all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate

  • Identify,suggestand activelyparticipatein process improvement opportunities

  • Ensure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions / activities

  • Assume responsibility to minimize operational and regulatory risk bycomplying withBank and industry Code of Conduct

Skills & Education:

  • Undergraduate degree is preferred

  • 3 years relevant experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Private Banking or experience in dealing with affluent clients isrequired

  • Thorough knowledge of Retail Banking products, systems, and services

  • Knowledge & understanding of commercial and retail creditprinciples

  • A self-starter that works with minimal supervision

  • Requires tact to exchange ideas and customer information in a concise and logical way; handling of sensitive customer information and resolution of exceptions

  • Completion of theCanadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE)or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC), or willingness to do so within 1 year.
