Position: Client Service Specialist

Location: Novi, MI

Richard W. Paul & Associates, a leading financial services firm based in Novi, MI, is seeking a dedicated Client Service Specialist to join our team. The Client Service Specialist plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm while delivering a high level of service to both existing and prospective clients.
This individual will help ensure a smooth, organized, and professional client experience by handling a variety of operational and client service responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to fostering positive client relationships in a dynamic and team-oriented culture. What you'll do:

  • Process and track new business, including application submission and account transfer follow-up (ACATs)
  • Manage ongoing client service requests such as beneficiary updates, withdrawals, and general account maintenance
  • Assist with annuity servicing, including index reallocations
  • Handle incoming client calls with professionalism and a strong focus on relationship building
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within the CRM (Redtail) /database
  • Prepare for client meetings by updating account summaries and organizing appropriate materials (reports, applications, and product information)
  • Support advisors with administrative and operational tasks to ensure efficient workflow
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Series 65 preferred, or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • MI Insurance license preferred (life & annuity), or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • Demonstrates strong proficiency and confidence working across various platforms and operating systems including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication; written and verbal
  • Skilled in building strong, trust-based relationships with clients by providing attentive, personalized service and guidance
  • Collaborative team player willing to assist others
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills by efficiently managing multiple client requests and prioritizing time sensitive tasks
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently
