Position Overview

The Todd Group is seeking a sharp, personable Client Service Associate to support investment‑heavy client servicing, asset movement tracking, and high‑volume communication needs. In this role, you’ll be a key operational partner—managing caseloads, maintaining compliant records, and keeping service requests moving accurately and efficiently. It’s a full‑time opportunity to grow your financial services career within a respected, well‑established practice offering strong compensation, benefits, and a collaborative office environment northwest of Chicago.

This role is Full-Time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday, and works in The Todd Group's Crystal Lake, IL office.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for client service requests and proactively provide status updates throughout the process
  • Support investment- and insurance‑focused client servicing, including monitoring asset movements and preparing investment proposals
  • Manage a high‑volume caseload and advisor inbox with timely, accurate communication across phone, email, and mail
  • Maintain compliant, organized client records through consistent CRM updates, case notes, and data auditing
  • Document all client interactions and follow‑up actions clearly and thoroughly
  • Create and refine SOPs, workflows, and internal documentation to improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate in team meetings to enhance service processes and overall client experience
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

  • 2+ years administrative experience, required
  • 2+ years financial services experience, required
  • Life and Health License, and Series 6/7 Registered, preferred; willingness to pursue licensing may be considered for strong candidates
  • Proficient with investment trading systems and processes, preferred
  • Adept with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and various software, required
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools, Wealthscape, Envestnet, DocuSign and CRM, preferred
