Position Overview: At Global Advisor Group, we recognize that our team members are our greatest asset. Your diverse talents will be valued and directly contribute to our firm’s success. We are seeking a motivated Client Service Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering exceptional client service and support, contributing to the overall success of our firm. This is an onsite position, and we will only consider candidates that will work 5 days/week in our Reston, VA office.
 
Knowledge/Requirements 
·         Preferred 4-Year bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
·         Prior experience working in a broker-dealer office or finance industry preferred.
·         Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint proficiency to produce professional documents.
·         Uphold a polished, professional and welcoming nature with external and internal business contacts.
·         Ability to organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment to complete assigned tasks on time.
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate ideas and thoughts in a clear, professional manner to managers, team members, and clients.
·         Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
·         Effective problem-solving skills to resolve routine client questions.
·         Ability to handle moderate amount of incoming phone calls daily.
·         Ability to work independently and in teams to complete tasks in a timely manner.
·         FBI background check and credit check required.
·         Regular and timely attendance is required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities 
·         Acts as the team quarterback-coordinates and performs a wide range of operational support activities.
·         Monitors outstanding tasks and upcoming deadlines. Works with team to ensure timely execution and workflow. 
·         Runs daily reports to ensure accounts are in good standing and acts in coordination with Financial Advisors to bring accounts into good order when needed.
·         Manages multiple calendars for the team. Helps coordinate meetings for clients, prospects and outside vendors.
·         Anticipates client needs, solves problems and follows through on tasks with exceptional service while keeping in communication with clients and meeting expected turnaround times.
·         Responds to incoming emails and telephone calls in a professional and timely manner.
·         Supports the Administrative Team with various office tasks including but not limited to answering phone calls, greeting clients, preparing mail and processing forms, checks and securities as needed.
·         Prepares and coordinates client forms and documents with all relevant activities being tracked in firms’ database.
·         Interacts with the firms’ home office to develop cooperative relationships and follows through on requests.
·         Is aware of and adheres to industry compliance requirements and firm and branch policies.
·         Attends regular meetings including but not limited to daily team meetings, weekly ops meetings, professional development & compliance meetings.
·         May be assigned project-related tasks to contribute to the firm’s development.
·         Supports team members with various duties and responsibilities as assigned.
