Client Service Advisor
๐Ÿ“ St. Louis, MO | ๐Ÿ’ต $70K-$90K base + 20% bonus potential| ๐Ÿ•’ Full-time The Chamberlin Group is seeking a financial services professional with a focus on developing and maintaining strong, consistent, advisor-client relationships.  The Client Service Advisor will ensure that financial plans are properly managed, maintained, and executed with care and precision.  The Client Service Advisor will have access to administrative support to assist with the more routine paperwork, processing, and account management functions.
We are a small financial planning and tax services firm, located in St. Louis, Missouri and serving clients nationwide since 2002. With a people-first culture built on integrity, gratitude, and community, we focus on helping our clients retire better.
Key Responsibilities Client Support and Service โ€ข Manage and track all aspects of the client onboarding process, including client paperwork, answering questions, and providing support.  Transfer and track client funds according to the plan.
โ€ข Provide updates and progress reports to clients throughout the relationship at routine intervals.
โ€ข Conduct client review meetings.
โ€ข Maintain a strong, consistent advisor-client relationship for long-term plan success, focused on client retention and referral generation. Lead Advisor Support โ€ข Maintain regular communication with Lead Advisor regarding client accounts.  Serve as primary point of contact for clients, coordinating communications and resolving issues that arise.
โ€ข Occasionally attend appointments with Lead Advisors to help advance client relationship to service team.
โ€ข Deliver and explain tax returns to clients, prepared by Enrolled Agents.
 Administrative โ€ข Actively and accurately update and maintain CRM records and notes.
โ€ข Work collaboratively with Lead Advisor to handle transactions and other client issues.
โ€ข Ensure all time-sensitive tasks are completed as promised, without fail.
โ€ข Assist with ad hoc trades and distributions on client accounts.
โ€ข Review, research, and correct paperwork, as needed.  Ensure accounts are in good order, along with transfers and investments, in a timely and accurate manner.
โ€ข Effectively communicate our fundamental investment strategies and company policies to clients.
โ€ข Attend internal training opportunities and company off-site events.
โ€ข Mentors new CSAs in conjunction with their Manager to ensure successful onboarding.
Licensing, Skills, and Experience
  • Candidates must have 3+ years of direct client service/sales experience in the insurance/securities industry.  Internal candidates will be given additional consideration.  
  • Education: College degree preferred.
  • Licenses: Series 65 or 7&66 required. Life and Health Insurance
    licenses (or must obtain within 90 days of employment.)
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with effective communication, organizational, and client service skills.
  • HubSpot and Right Capital experience a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $70K - $90K + 20% bonus potential
