We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Client Success Specialist to join our team and play a key role in improving client retention and expanding coverage solutions.

Job Summary

The Client Success Specialist will work on-site at our San Antonio office and will be responsible for supporting clients, handling service requests, and assisting with inbound and outbound calls. This role is critical to improving client retention, increasing policies per customer, and delivering tailored solutions that align with our agency’s core values of being customer-centric, knowledgeable, dependable, proactive, and transparent.

Licensing is not required to start, but candidates must be willing to obtain their General Lines Property & Casualty and General Lines Life, Health, and HMO licenses within the first few months of employment (with in-house support). While unlicensed, the Client Success Specialist will focus on service work, administrative tasks, and client communication under the supervision of licensed team members. Once licensed, they will take on additional responsibilities, including discussing insurance policies and cross-selling opportunities.

Compensation

  • Starting- Salary: $29,120/year (based on experience and qualifications).

  • Growth Potential: Salary increases withing the first 12 months are tied to licensing milestones (e.g., General Lines Property & Casualty, General Lines Life, Health, and HMO).

    • Additional raises available upon earning industry designations (e.g., CISR, CIC, CLU).
  • Opportunities for Advancement: Employees can quickly grow their earnings by achieving licensing and professional development goals within the first few months.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Service Work: Assist with administrative tasks, such as updating client information in our CRM and processing service requests.

    • Handle inbound and outbound calls to support clients with general inquiries and direct them to licensed team members as needed.
    • Respond to client emails and texts using our management system, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients to improve retention rates and reduce churn.

    • Once licensed, identify coverage gaps and educate clients on additional policies, including personal insurance (e.g., auto, home, umbrella) and business insurance (e.g., general liability, workers’ compensation, commercial auto).
  • Lead Management:

    • Use our preferred referral sources to manage and follow up with leads.
    • Document all interactions and follow-ups .
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure seamless client experience and effective handoffs.

    Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, account management, or insurance is preferred but not required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.

  • Proficient in using CRM software, including data management, and , as well as basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).

  • Must be willing and must obtain General Lines Property & Casualty and General Lines Life, Health, and HMO licenses (with our in-house support).
