Job description

Overview
Corporate Tools is seeking a Sales Representative to join our New Inquiry Sales team. In this role, you'll take inbound leads, uncover opportunities, and turn great conversations into successful business relationships by matching customers with the right Corporate Tools products and services. You'll bring a competitive, goal-driven mindset while keeping things helpful, human, and refreshingly free of pushy sales tactics.
This team fuels company growth by turning new inquiries into confident customers and celebrating wins together (yes, we love the leader board-but we also love customers who hang around). We're looking for tech savvy, motivated self-starters with strong sales instincts, influential communication skills, and the drive to hit-and beat-sales goals, all while building trust, relationships, and the occasional "wow, that was actually a good sales experience."
Wage
$40,000 / year (nonexempt) + uncapped commission
Benefits
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental and vision for employees
  • Annual review with raise option
  • 22 days Paid Time Off accrued annually, and 4 holidays
    • After 3 years, PTO increases to 29 days. Employees transition to flexible time off after 5 years with the company-not accrued, not capped, take time off when you want
    • The 4 holidays are: New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Up to 6% company matching 401(k) with no vesting period
  • Quarterly allowance
    • Use to make your remote work set up more comfortable, for continuing education classes, a plant for your desk, coffee for your coworker, a massage for yourself... really, whatever
  • Open concept office with friendly coworkers
  • Creative environment where you can make a difference
  • No dumb benefits like free dog walking on the weekends that snobby hipster places have to make you feel cool, but mathematically won't cost the company much money because you won't use it
  • Trail Mix Bar - oh yeah

Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively reach out to potential clients to introduce and discuss our business services.
  • Understand client needs through active listening, present tailored solutions, and provide expert recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain trust with clients by showing empathy and delivering a positive and engaging experience.
  • Manage leads through the sales funnel using the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate data entry.
  • Stay updated on our range of services and industry trends to effectively communicate features and benefits to clients.
  • Address client hesitations with thoughtful and strategic responses, steering conversations toward favorable outcomes.
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to improve processes and contribute to team success.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team goals.

Requirements
  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Ability to speak on the phone for 7 hours a day.
  • Demonstrated experience in a consultative sales role, ideally in a call center or remote environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience using CRM tools and remote work software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Teams).
  • Demonstrated skill in creative problem-solving and providing tailored solutions for clients.
  • A commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience and building lasting client relationships.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and respond effectively to changing client needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong ability to work independently and remain focused in a remote setting.
