Maron Marvel seeks a highly qualified senior associate attorney to join the firm's national litigation risk management and toxic/mass tort litigation teams .Associates will work closely within our litigation teams for national and regional clients to handle and oversee litigation throughout the country. Applicants should have impressive academic credentials, strong research and writing skills and demonstrated interest in trial practice.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Proactive case management from start to finish in both state and federal courts.
  • Drafting of pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive motions.
  • Comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations.
  • Frequent client reporting
  • Expert witness coordination and collaboration
  • Deposition, court hearing, and mediation attendance
  • Trial preparation and attendance
  • Ability to work closely with paralegals to ensure efficient case management.
Qualifications:
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice in any state. Bar admission in Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey is a plus.
  • 5-10 years litigation experience; some toxic tort experience preferred but not required
  • Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional work ethic, passionate, proactive, and deeply curious and eager to understand both our work and the methods behind it.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to manage caseload proactively from start to finish.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to self-manage and work in a team environment.
  • Strong research ability and written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to continued client development.
