The Account Executive, Renewal Sales is a key participant in the Renewals Department responsible for active account management, cross selling, and retaining merchant relations. The Account Executive, Renewal Sales will work with and support other business areas and senior management to increase account penetration, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. 

What you will do:

  • Create and drive revenue within a specified region or list of accounts
  • Drive revenue and own the full cycle sales process including prospecting, negotiating contracts, and closing renewal business with customers
  • Provide recommendations based on a customer's business needs and usage patterns
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to thoroughly qualify leads and sales opportunities, leverage business from new and established relationships, and strategize, negotiate, and close business. 
  • Handle inbound customer communication and organize/escalate issues appropriately: billing, legal, security, and technical inquiries
  • Collaborate and work with different members (Underwriting, Leadership, etc.) to build strategic financial plans for customers
  • Educate and effectively communicate to customers the value of Cash Advance
  • Develop trusted internal and customer relationships to created win-win sales relationships
  • Effectively manage a pipeline working within a defined sales process
  • Properly communicate the status of a deal to internal management included senior leadership with realistic timelines and hurdles to the overall success of a particular deal

What we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and job experience preferred
  • 1+ years of prior full sales cycle experience, ideally in Financial Services and/or consultative sales with demonstrable experience delivering
  • You have experience (and should enjoy!) collaborating with internal sales teams
  • Experience selling that can be used across multiple products. You have experience selling across different industries
  • Ability to engage multiple stakeholders throughout the sales cycle including Legal, IT, Security, and Finance
  • Effective in (and should enjoy!) collaborating with internal sales teams
  • Experience engaging and building a presence with customers using communication tools
  • Understanding of and experience with CRM programs (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to compute basic business math
