We're seeking a Client Relationship Manager to strengthen relationships with Department of War customers and strategic partners. You'll be the consistent point of contact our clients rely on, staying close to their evolving priorities and making sure they get the support they need at every stage of their work with us. Working across government stakeholders and our internal technical teams, you'll keep communication steady, ensure customer needs are understood and acted on, and identify opportunities to support future missions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship point of contact for Greystones' clients across the Department of War.
  • Meet with customers face-to-face, checking in on satisfaction, understanding evolving priorities and challenges, and strengthening trusted working relationships between Greystones and our clients.
  • Build and grow a network of trusted relationships with decision-makers across program offices, acquisition organizations, systems commands, combatant commands, and the wider defense community.
  • Partner with our engineering and technical teams to keep clients informed on Greystones' capabilities, address questions, and ensure client feedback is incorporated into ongoing support and delivery.
  • Represent Greystones at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements, building trusted, long-term relationships across the defense community.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and our internal capture, proposal, technical, and delivery teams so customers have a smooth, well-supported experience end to end.
  • Maintain accurate client engagement records in the CRM and keep leadership informed of customer updates, emerging needs, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen and expand Greystones' relationships across the defense market, flagging potential opportunities to the business development and capture teams as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of the DoW acquisition lifecycle and government contracting.
  • Experience engaging with DoW, including systems commands or acquisition organizations, with the ability to build trusted relationships with government stakeholders.
  • Experience in client relationship management, account management, or customer success, ideally in a government or enterprise environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Familiarity with contract vehicles and pathways such as OTAs, SBIR/STTR, GSA, and IDIQs is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to client and command locations as needed (up to 25%).
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Military experience with a background in defense acquisition is preferred.
