Position Summary

IV Nutrition Ankeny is looking for an outgoing, energetic, and dependable Community Relations & Marketing Coordinator to help grow our presence in the community, connect with potential clients, build relationships with local businesses, and support our clinic team.

This is a non-medical position ideal for someone who loves talking to people, enjoys being out in the community, and is comfortable promoting our services and creating new relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Outreach & Marketing
  • Represent IV Nutrition Ankeny at local businesses, community events, networking opportunities, and partner locations.
  • Set up promotional and informational tables at business partner locations.
  • Engage with potential clients and provide approved information about IV Nutrition services.
  • Distribute brochures, promotional offers, and marketing materials.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners.
  • Help identify new partnership and marketing opportunities throughout the Ankeny community.
  • Assist with community events, wellness events, and promotional activities.
Customer Relations & Marketing
  • Make outbound marketing and follow-up phone calls to current and potential clients.
  • Follow up with leads from events, promotions, and community outreach.
  • Contact clients regarding promotions, events, and special offers.
  • Help schedule appointments and encourage potential clients to visit the clinic.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service in person and over the phone.
  • Help support client retention and relationship-building efforts.
  • Opportunity to earn commission based on qualifying sales, referrals, or other established performance goals.
Clinic Assistant Support
  • Welcome and check in clients.
  • Answer phones and assist with scheduling.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic.
  • Restock non-medical supplies and marketing materials.
  • Assist with laundry, room turnover, organization, and other general clinic duties.
  • Support the clinic team during busy periods.
  • Assist management with marketing and administrative projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Friendly, outgoing, positive, and comfortable starting conversations with new people.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound marketing calls.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently at community and partner locations.
  • Dependable, organized, and professional.
  • Comfortable promoting services and asking for the sale or appointment.
  • Sales, marketing, hospitality, customer service, or community outreach experience is a plus.
  • Basic computer, phone, and social media skills.
  • Must be willing to assist with a variety of tasks around the clinic.
Schedule & Compensation

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Hours may be divided between working inside the clinic and representing IV Nutrition Ankeny at partner businesses and community events.

Starting pay is $14–$15 per hour, based on experience, plus commission opportunities.

This position offers flexibility for the right candidate while providing an opportunity to earn additional income through performance and sales.

Non-Medical Position

This position is strictly non-medical. The Community Relations & Marketing Coordinator does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatments, provide medical advice, administer IVs or injections, or perform clinical procedures. All medical questions must be referred to the appropriate licensed clinical team member.
