Weston is seeking a Project Manager that will lead complex, environmental projects, or programs for Industrial and Government clients. This position will engage stakeholders to build trust and align stakeholder expectations and relationships. The successful candidate will assist with proposal development, and internal team development.

Location: New Hampshire (preferred) 

Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:

  • Lead environmental consulting projects providing technical and project management expertise ensuring that assignments align with client needs.
  • Leverage individual knowledge and project experience from working with differing clients and regulatory frameworks to align project scopes and deliver value.
  • Manage integrated project teams by clearly communicating expectations for client requirements, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manages environmental projects that may include concurrent assignments with diverse scopes, multi-disciplinary teams, and subcontractors.
  •  Demonstrates a working knowledge of regulations and professional standards for diverse projects.
  • Communicates openly and freely with internal resources and client(s) representatives.
  • Management and communication of project changes with the client and the project team.
  • Provides consistent team leadership, safety and quality, and project management in accordance with Company practices.
  • Assist with proposal management including cost estimating and project profitability.
  • Proactive identification of project issues and development of options for corrective action.
  • Timely and accurate submittal of client deliverables, technical reports, invoices and payments.
  • Compliance with WESTON operating protocols, business ethics, purchasing and subcontracting requirements. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or environmental sciences related degree from an accredited university.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of professional experience in the field of environmental assessment, investigations, environmental consulting, and remediation.
  • Three (3) or more years of project management experience on environmental consulting projects.
  • Working knowledge of state and Federal regulations and ability to interface with regulatory agencies. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, negotiate and lead regulatory and closure strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams with projects of advanced technical scope and complexity.
  • Promotes an environment where Weston team members establish relationships and build trust with their clients and stakeholder counterparts.
  • Ability to excel at managing teams, scope, schedule, and budget.
