Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Project Coordinator in Bridgeview, IL for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States. 

Job Type: Direct Placement
Pay: $50,000 to $65,000 Per Year BOE

Responsibilities:
  • Make job Active in Sage & move project folder from Customers to Active Jobs on the Server
  • Create Job in Procore
  • Review contract: 1) send to legal for review if customer is new or add legal edits from previous contract with that customer into the terms of the new contract; 2) review scope with estimator/owner to ensure it coincides with SWP proposal; 3) obtain owner signature and send to customer for approval; 4) negotiate edited terms with customer, if necessary.
  • Check contract for schedule and forward to field operations. If none, inquire about schedule with project contact via email and copy Field Operations.
  • Obtain contact info for all customer contacts involved. Project manager, field super, authorized T & M ticket signees, final punch list creators & authorized PL approvers. Include contact info on w/o’s.
  • Submit anything required back to the customer (W-9, COI, Pre-Qual forms, etc)
  • Order 4 drawdowns of each finish product specified along with wall covering samples for the project (some 2-part or high-end products may require a different approach); sent drawdowns with a letter of transmittal to PM; scan drawdowns and submit to file; upload drawdowns to Procore. Also upload product data (including wallcovering PD) and Site Safety Plan to Procore.
  • Develop shop drawings/work orders for awarded projects based on contract scope. Send to customer for approval. Upload drawings to Procore. Send scope and specs to wallcovering Subcontractor.
  • Create Procore custom tasks for each job. Enter estimated production hours provided by field. Create customer production report for each job.
  • Email requested closeout documents to customer when requested – warranty; product data; shop drawings; O&M guide.
  • Create Closeout binder (for larger projects and DTO): Print product data/safety sheets, completed work orders, scanned drawdowns, site specific safety plan, and O&M Manual with Table of Contents & mail hard copies to customer/General Contractor.
  • Estimate, create and follow up on change order requests for additional work on awarded jobs. Update current work order with date revised & notify Field Operations
  • Manager of completed change added to Procore.
  • Create contracts for subcontractors in Sage & follow up with executed copies.
  • Make sure Subcontractor COI’s are up to date. Obtain W9 from sub
  • Utilize Sage to track project management milestones
  • Maintain back-log - create report for weekly accounting meetings.
  • Coordinate with AR to ensure billing of contract and all approved change orders.

  • 2-3 years of Project coordination exp a plus.
  • Working with a painting company a plus

Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to talk or hear, stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard for prolonged periods
  • Regularly spend multiple hours using and looking at a computer screen.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required occasionally
  • May need to occasionally travel to job sites.

Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 Per Year, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
