Position Overview:

The Client Portfolio Manager will work closely with internal partners such as private bankers, financial advisors and trust administrators to provide high quality solutions to clients and to construct, manage, monitor and maintain client portfolios. He/she will be responsible for managing investment portfolios that are properly aligned with the client's investment objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Meet with internal partners and clients to review client objectives and deploy appropriate portfolio management strategies specific to client goals, risk tolerances, and time horizon.

  • Understand and articulate the firm's Multi-Asset Strategies centralized investment approach, asset allocation, investment process, and portfolio construction methodology.

  • Understand the firm's order management system (OMS) in executing security transactions, conducting portfolio rebalancing, generating performance reporting materials and maintaining clients' records, documents, etc. pertaining to the management of client portfolios.

  • Actively participate in and contribute to the firm's research, analysis, Asset Allocation and Manager Review Committees.

  • Adhere closely to the firm's investment policy guidelines, asset allocation models, and approved securities lists.

  • Understand and follow the firm's Compliance guidelines in all aspects of conduct in the Client Portfolio Manager role.

  • Champion and advocate the firm's portfolio solutions, thought leadership, client service standards and culture both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

  • CFP designation and/or 5 + years of portfolio management experience

  • 5 + years of industry experience

  • Demonstrated experience with High Net Worth and Family Office clients and appropriate investment strategies including alternative investments.

  • Strong personal and professional references

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Client first attitude, professional demeanor, high level of personal integrity and an understanding of fiduciary responsibility

  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

  • Self-motivated, confident, detail oriented and analytical

  • Effective and impressive in client interfacing

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of various and current securities markets, both domestic and global, various investment approaches and themes, and different types of investment products

  • Team player mentality and attitude of accountability

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $117,000 - 158,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
