Location/Schedule: Mentor Office, Mentor, OH, Office Hours – Monday amp; Wednesday 9:00am – 5:00pm, Tuesdays 11:00am – 7:00pm (Two evenings per week with at least one night in office required).

About Cleveland Rape Crisis Center
Cleveland Rape Crisis Center (CRCC) supports survivors of rape and sexual abuse, promotes healing and prevention and advocates for social change. CRCC was founded in 1974 in response to Cleveland’s long-standing need for services to assist survivors of sexual assault.
CRCC offers services in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake counties such as legal advocacy, case management, and therapy services. We also do education and outreach work, to educate the community on sexual violence and human trafficking prevention.
Position Summary
The Associate Director - TST oversees the day-to-day operation of Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s Therapeutic Services Team services to ensure all survivors and co-survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking in CRCC’s service area have access to trauma informed individual and therapy, psychoeducation, and crisis stabilization. This position leads a team providing therapeutic services in CRCC offices throughout Northeast Ohio, as well as in specified community locations. In coordination with the Senior Director of Clinical Services, the Associate Director will inform program development to enhance CRCC’s therapy services and provide input to the strategic direction of the program.
Key Responsibilities
People Management:
  • Responsible for hiring, training, supervision and performance management of staff and interns in Therapeutic Services
  • Provide clinical supervision to trauma therapists, contract therapists, and clinical intern(s); assures adequate clinical staffing
  • Responsible for leading professional development efforts through training, supervision, and quality assurance
  • Establish and monitor performance objectives; complete timely performance evaluations
  • Identify and promptly respond to staff and intern debrief needs to mitigate the impact of vicarious trauma
  • Monitor goals being completed by program team and staff members
  • Provide weekly clinical supervision to members of therapy team
  • Hold staff and interns accountable for adhering to CRCC’s policies and procedures
  • Co-facilitate therapy team meetings with Senior Director as needed
  • Engage in routine quality assurance reviews of services provided
  • Monitor documentation to ensure integrity in service delivery
Client Services:
  • Clinically assess and diagnose survivors and supports
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling to survivors using evidence-based treatment modalities
  • Maintain a regular number of engagement sessions with an agreed upon number of monthly client contact hours
  • Work collaboratively with clinical supervisors on activities, including therapy team effectiveness, documentation, identification and resolution of barriers
  • Routinely evaluate departmental policies, practices to ensure timely access to services with the fewest number of barriers
  • Establish and nurture relationships with outside community organizations; network and hold responsibility for relationship management
Administrative, Other Duties:
  • Support the Senior Director of Clinical Services in data analysis and program development
  • Manage the department training catalog by routinely reviewing existing training content and creating new content when needed
Education, Experience, Licenses, amp; Certifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Services, Counseling, Art Therapy and/or a related field
  • One of the following valid OH licenses:
    • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
    • Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • 2+ years of direct clinical/therapy experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of experience with survivors of sexual violence
  • Prior experience in the field of substance use preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • May consider an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training to meet the essential functions of the position
Salary amp; Benefits
Salary Range: $73,000 - $78,000 annually
