About the Role / Position Summary
The Software Engineering Intern will support FEG’s Information Technology/Engineering team by contributing to software development, data integration, application modernization, testing, documentation, and operational support activities. This part-time role is designed for a student or early-career technologist who wants hands-on experience building practical technology solutions in a collaborative, business-focused environment.

What You’ll Do / Position Responsibilities
  • Assist with software development tasks across internal applications, APIs, data integrations, and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and technology leaders to understand requirements and deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.
  • Write, test, debug, and document code under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Support application modernization efforts, including updates to legacy systems, cloud-based services, and internal tools.
  • Participate in team planning, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement discussions.
