The Financial Advisor is responsible for helping clients achieve their financial goals through personalized planning, investment guidance, and exceptional client service. This role partners closely with clients and internal teams to develop tailored financial strategies, manage ongoing relationships, and deliver a high-touch, consultative experience. The ideal candidate is relationship-focused, proactive, and committed to building long-term client trust. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and lead client meetings
  • Gather and organize client financial information to develop customized financial plans
  • Create insurance illustrations and financial planning scenarios
  • Communicate investment recommendations in collaboration with advisory teams
  • Track financial planning milestones and follow up on action items
  • Deliver proactive client service and ongoing relationship management
  • Manage client onboarding and support ongoing service needs
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM and financial planning systems
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide trusted financial guidance
  • Develop client relationships and referral opportunities through consistent engagement
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning or a related field
  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required
  • CFP designation preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with the financial services and insurance industries
  • Experience with CRM and financial planning software (Salesforce, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational abilities
