Overview

SKDK is looking for a Client Finance Manager to overseeย financial managementย for a portfolio of media-based client accounts.ย ย The Client Finance Manager is a key business partner responsible for all financial client deliverables, including client and project setup, client invoicing, WIP management, revenue reconciliations, client revenue forecasting,ย reportingย and profitability analysis.ย ย The primary goal of this role will be to support the Paid Media client leaders withย timelyย and effective financial counsel while also supporting the CFO and other finance team members with month-end close reconciliations, audits, system implementations, ad-hoc reporting, etc.ย 

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the various client-facing team leaders (primarily within the Paid Media group) to ensure all financial elements of the client relationship are managed, tracked,ย monitored, and communicated.ย 
  • Partner with the Shared Financial Team to oversee and track project setups, client media/production invoicing, revenue recognition, WIP management, and ensuring client transactions are postedย in accordance withย all applicable contractual obligations.ย 
  • Stay abreast of changes and modifications to client budgets and prepare quarterly client revenue forecasts.ย 
  • Coordinate with sister agencies (including Assembly media) on all intercompany billingsย 
  • Assist the CFO in the preparation of various financial presentations (primarily annual budget and quarterly reforecasts).ย 
  • Take a leadership role in the support of internal, external and SOX auditsย 
  • Develop,ย maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as neededย 
  • Provide proactive analytical support and other ad hoc financial analyses to the CFO, clientย leadersย and senior leadership.ย 
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of Shared Services team members within the AP,ย ARย and Billing groups.ย 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.ย 
  • 4-8 years of experience in client finance, preferably in an advertising/marketing services organization.ย 
  • Financial planning and analysis experience a plusย 
  • Strong understanding of GAAPย 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsย ย ย 
  • Independent, self-starter with problem solving skillsย 
  • Superior organization abilities and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentย 
  • Strong teamย collaborator with all levels of employees, management, and external agenciesย 
  • Attention to detailย 
  • Team leadership experience and skillsย 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excelย 
  • Experience with a variety ofย financial managementย systemsย ย 
BenefitsSKDK is committed to pay equity. SKDK believes the target base compensation in this role is between $85,000-$100,000. In addition to base salary, SKDK considers other key components as part of total compensation, including but not limited to an annual discretionary bonus, commission on new business, and a comprehensive benefits package.
