Associate Engagement Manager - Manufacturing Sector
Infosys's Manufacturing Unit is seeking an Associate Manager of Client Services. The Associate Manager-Client Services (AMCS) will lead all client interfaces within the assigned account scope and, in partnership with the Manager (Manager-Client Services/Senior Manager-Client Services), will co-develop and execute the account plan to drive growth and client value. The AMCS typically manages a single account or a sub-portfolio within a large account, with an indicative annual book of business of approximately $10-$30 million. This role will focus on helping manufacturing clients accelerate digital transformation, modernize core operations, adopt AI-led and data-driven solutions, and create measurable business impact across the manufacturing value chain.
Role Description:
• Client relationship management and business development: lead client relationships, build a portfolio up to $10-30M, lead the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close, with a focus on driving consultative, outcome-based conversations across manufacturing, supply chain, operations, engineering, and technology stakeholders.
• Client delivery assurance: collaborate with all delivery partners involved to ensure fulfillment of all commitments to the client and proactively identify opportunities to improve client value, delivery quality, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Delivery Manager to address all people or infrastructure related issues that may be affecting the delivery of the project vis-à-vis the specific client.
• Balance different projects running for the client that may involve different delivery managers or horizontal unit resources, ensuring alignment across business priorities, transformation objectives, and client expectations.
• Take go-to-market solutions to accounts and drive revenue from go-to-market solutions being sponsored by the business unit, including digital manufacturing, smart factory, Industry 4.0, cloud, data, AI, automation, connected products, sustainability, and IT-OT transformation solutions.
• Work closely with the Solutions Leader to build customized solutions pitches for the target account and driving the revenues and delivery of these solutions, tailored to the client's manufacturing landscape, business priorities, and transformation roadmap.
• Account planning and governance: build the account plan including relationships required, opportunities to be pursued, price decisions, etc.
• Craft account plan with details of the relationships required, the opportunities that have to be chased, and forecasting the potential revenue yield from such opportunities, as well as potential threats and weaknesses that need to be addressed. The account plan should also reflect whitespace analysis, competitive positioning, pipeline health, deal strategy, and executive relationship coverage.
• Make pricing decisions within the scope of the Master Services Agreement, while balancing competitiveness, margin expectations, and long-term account growth potential.
• Support pre-sales proposals for new business development outside of account scope.
• Provide vital input for building future alliances with relevant product vendors, ecosystem partners, hyperscalers, and manufacturing technology platforms.
