Responsibilities
The 1834 Wealth Client Experience Specialist provides comprehensive support to High Net Worth (HNW) Wealth Advisors by exercising independent judgement in delivering exceptional client service, managing administrative and operational tasks, and assisting with business development initiatives. This role ensures superior client experience through proactive communication, technical expertise, and organizational excellence, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and requires a high degree of autonomy and independent judgement in decision making.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $62,300/yr - $122,400/yr plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.
Key Accountabilities
Client Experience & Relationship Management - Serve as the primary service contact for clients, exercising independent judgment to resolve complex inquiries and issues, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the client experience.
  • Take ownership of client concerns, collaborating with internal teams or escalating as needed.
  • Deepen and retain client relationships by delivering high-touch service and identifying opportunities for internal referrals.
  • Acknowledge significant client life events with appropriate outreach (cards, gifts, messages).
  • Build rapport and instill confidence with clients to earn trust and credibility.

Advisor Support & Business Development - Partner with Advisors to develop new business proposals and financial plans, leveraging analytical skills and market insights to shape client strategies.
  • Conduct market research on clients and prospects; help identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales tracking, pipeline forecasts, and relationship plans.
  • Participate in account reviews and ensure completion of required action items.
  • Coordinate and execute activities supporting strategic initiatives, including tracking metrics and milestones.

Technical & Administrative Support - Prepare accurate reports and maintain orderly, confidential client files and documentation.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling, reserving space, and preparing materials.
  • Arrange corporate travel and logistics for Advisors as needed.
  • Provide project-related support with a high degree of professionalism, and accuracy, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to safeguard client assets and privacy.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive business growth.
  • Act as liaison between Advisors and external client advisors
  • Support event planning and management for client engagement and team initiatives.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or a related field.
  • General knowledge of wealth management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to solutions.
  • Ability to influence and recognize new business opportunities.
