Client Relationship Manager
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our service team plays a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the service they need to properly manage their insurance policies. You are the facilitator of positive and effective relationships with our valued clients and our insurance partner carriers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a.Manage the entire account-service process.
b.Market to carriers.
c.Prepare quotes and proposals.
d.Assist with client presentations.
e.Maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders.
f.Coordinate premium financing and the collection of premiums, as needed.
g.Assist with retention of client accounts.
h.Identify existing customer needs and make appropriate recommendations. Handles telephone calls and/or emails with professionalism and follow up on any action needed related to each transaction.
i.Maintains client files within the agency's automation system to ensure proper documentation.
j.Be familiar and follow specific Company and Agency guidelines in marketing new business applications, renewals, and processing existing policy changes.
k.Greet clients and prospective clients extending courtesy, kindness, determine their needs, and direct them to the proper office.
l.Be familiar with and follow agency E&O guidelines.
m.Assist producers and managers with any special projects or requests.
n.Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development.
o.Maintain open communication with department and office personnel to build teamwork and efficiency.
2. COMPLIANCE:
a.Maintain audit, security, compliance and regulatory standards.
b.Keep informed of changes in general, banking services, procedures, and in the economy as well.
3. MISCELLANEOUS OTHER DUTIES:
a.Assist with company functions when possible.
b.Fill in for other departments and/or companies when high volume creates a need if it works within the department/company schedule.
c.Work Saturdays and some holidays on a rotation basis.
d.Assume other duties and responsibilities as requested.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
1.Must be a self-starter, imaginative and creative with good communication skills both verbal and written. Should have a thorough understanding of commercial lines underwriting and coverage.
2.Critical proofing is required.
3.Must have keyboarding and computer skills. Microsoft Word & Excel required.
4.Minimum 3 years' experience in similar position is desirable. Must be licensed per state requirements.
5.Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
6.Must possess skills to maintain harmonious working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
Physical Requirements:
Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating and interacting with others.

In-House Training Requirements:
Continue on-going training for department operations, policies and procedures.
Normal working days are Monday through Friday~40 hour work week. However, work on some Saturdays, Sunday or holidays may be required by your supervisor.
